‘Scandal’ Season 4 Spoilers: Olivia and Fitz’s Passion Can’t Be Denied

Scandal Season 4 is already in full swing, and this week’s episode won’t lack in the drama department. Finally, fans will get to see Olivia Pope and President Fitz reunite. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, until now the couple have only shared a longing look.

According to Hallels, Olivia and Fitz will come face-to-face, and Scandal‘s resident hot President, played by Tony Goldwyn, will ask Liv the inevitable question of where she spent the entire summer.

Of course, Fitz will likely be upset when he hears the love of his life ran off to a deserted tropical island with his former friend, turned nemesis, Jake, but Liv will be back at the White House on damage control duty after Fitz’s daughter Karen is found unconscious in her underwear, Hollywood Hills reports.

Many Scandal fans believe that Fitz could get very jealous when he finds out about Olivia’s getaway with Jake, whom she’s still seeing, and the pair will have a very heated interaction.

Some of Scandal’s best scenes between Olivia and Fitz have been about their sexual tension, their intense passion for one another and whenever they’re near each other it’s more than obvious that they’re trying to control their wild urges.

However, the embattled couple have had their difficult moments as well. Besides the fact that Fitz is the President, and married to Mellie, who is currently in the midst of a breakdown after the death of her son, Jerry, the pair can never seem to be clear on a future together.

At one point, Scandal fans believed that Fitz would finish his first term, and not run for re-election, meaning he would be free to divorce Mellie, and move to Vermont with Olivia, where they could finally get married, have children, and star their lives together. However, that didn’t happen, and Liv was forced to pick up the pieces of her life and move on.

Although Olivia and Fitz are Scandal’s hot couple, Olivia’s relationship with Jake is also undeniable. The love triangle has been a source of juicy, dramatic entertainment for two seasons now, and shows no signs of slowing.

Unfortunately for Scandal fans, Olivia Pope will eventually be forced to choose between married President Fitz, and the ever hunky Jake. While Jake seems like the better choice on paper, Liv’s passion towards Fitz is undeniable, and she loves him more than anything.

It will be very interesting to see how the love triangle all plays out during Scandal season 4.
