Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner Divorce? Couple Fighting Over ‘Gone Girl’ Star, Report Claims

Rumors have started to circulate that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have been having huge rows over his alleged off-screen chemistry with his Gone Girl star, Emily Ratajkowski.

Star Magazine (via Celeb Dirty Laundry) have reported that Garner is hugely upset with Affleck because he has shown a lack of interest in both her and her marriage ever since he concluded work on the hugely successful David Fincher film.

The aforementioned publication also wrote that Garner had noticed that Affleck had developed a rapport with Ratajkowski off camera. In Gone Girl, 23-year-old Ratajkowksi plays Andie Fitzgerald, a college student that Affleck’s character, Nick Dunne, has an affair with. The pair even partake in a rather steamy sex-scene, too.

Star went on to declare that Garner became concerned when she learned that Affleck had hand-picked Ratajkowksi to be his mistress in the film. Ever since the pair have been married, Garner has been forced to deal with a number of cheating allegations and she is believed to have become hugely worried that Affleck’s eyes might have wandered during the shoot.

Garner is then thought to have launched into a tirade with her husband as she didn’t understand why he had picked out Ratajkowski when casting agents are employed specifically to do that job.

After the English model, who famously appeared nude in Robin Thicke’s video for “Blurred Lines”, was hired, Garner is said to have burst into tears as she immediately started to fear that Affleck would have a fling with her. However, Star Magazine doesn’t actually go as far as to say that the pair did hook-up, but it did note that Garner was upset that he’d got “too close” to Emily during the shoot.

Meanwhile it’s also noted that Garner had an issue with Affleck heading to Detroit and Chicago to film Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. It’s been reported that Garner assumed Affleck, who will play Batman/Bruce Wayne in the hugely anticipated follow-up to Man Of Steel, would hook-up with one of his co-stars while she was back in Los Angeles looking after their family.

Whether any of this is actually true is still very much up in the air. Affleck appears to have turned himself into a devoted family man after a number of famous relationships with the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Lopez, and not only have the pair been married since June 2005 but they also have three children together, too.
