Phaedra Parks Should Be Scared of Angry Husband And Go Into Witness Protection Says TV Host

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks hasn’t really said much about her marriage since her husband, Apollo Nida, was arrested and charged with fraud and identity theft. He was sentenced to eight years behind bars and Parks was noticeably absent from the sentencing. In September, Apollo turned himself in and Phaedra began a life as a single mother. Even though he has been sentenced to eight years, it is questionable whether he will actually serve a full sentence.

Phaedra Parks is finally breaking her silence about her decision to end her marriage but everyone isn’t in full support of how she is proceeding. Phaedra recently sat down with Ellen DeGeneres to talk about how the divorce is affecting her and her children. And based on her answers, it sounds like Parks is more concerned about her sons than her own broken heart.

According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks is getting some advice from Wendy Williams. This advice comes on the same day as Parks’ interview with Ellen Degeneres is airing. Here, she reveals that she had no idea about the lies and crimes that he had been committing until he had been arrested.

“I didn’t have any idea this was going on until he called me and said ‘Hey, I’ve been arrested,’ ” Parks confides on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which will air this Wednesday.

“Well, to be honest, he had been to prison,” Phaedra Parks reveals, adding, “But he was a changed person so the person I married, I thought he had changed.”

Parks also points out that it has been extremely hard on her because her heart is broken for her sons. The couple has two sons together. And while Phaedra Parks is sharing her hurt feelings with the world, Wendy Williams believes that there is a reason why Parks waited to file for divorce.

Several reports surfaced around the time that he went to jail, stating that he had shown up at Phaedra’s home instead of jail the day he was supposed to turn himself in. Many believe that he showed up to hurt Parks, as the two had been fighting. But Phaedra didn’t talk about this day in her interview with Ellen.

“You’ve seen the way he’s been acting towards her — very violent, screaming and yelling,” Wendy Williams revealed on her show, adding, “He’s going to prison for eight years, but he did this to himself.”

And the TV host believes that Phaedra has a grand plan on how she wants to handle everything. According to The Inquisitr, Phaedra Parks filed the divorce papers amicably while he sat in jail. And maybe this is part of the plan.

“Phaedra waited until he went in [to prison] to announce that she’s divorcing him — smart — because, based on his temper, who knows what that madman would have done?” Wendy continues, adding, “When he gets out, I think she should go into witness protection,” the host suggested.

Do you think Phaedra Parks should be scared of her estranged husband?
