Will Smith: ‘Focus’ Is What Would Happen If ‘Hitch’ Was A Criminal – Here’s Why!
The first trailer for the highly-anticipated Will Smith movie, Focus, was recently released online.
The film stars Will Smith as a master con man and criminal that ends up forming a business (and pleasure) relationship with a “natural” criminal that goes from his protege to his partner, Margot Robbie. There has been a lot of press and media circulating around Focus for quite some time – especially since there are still rumors and speculation circulating that Will Smith had an affair with Margot Robbie while filming it.
However, one thing is for sure. When you watch the trailer for Focus, you will not be able to stop making comparisons between this movie and another movie where Will Smith plays a professional con man – Hitch. Basically, if Will Smith was a criminal in the first movie, it would be the same thing.
Replace Margot Robbie with Eva Mendez and Will Smith’s cheesy sayings and one-liners in Hitch about finding “the one” and creating breath-taking moments with training tips on finding the perfect con, and you will have the same exact movie.
So… in life there are 2 types of people, ‘Hammers and Nails…’ which are you? #WillSmith #FocusMovie pic.twitter.com/1mB4kTy9UO

“Two kinds of people in this world, hammers and nails, you decide what you want to be” Good God! That’s cheesy as hell!! #Focus #Willsmith

Do you think it’s because a lot of people simply do not realize that they are basically watching a demented sequel to Hitch?
When you watch the Focus trailer, do you see the same connections between this new movie and Hitch?
