Jenelle Evans: ‘Teen Mom’ Star Turning Her Life Around, Working Toward Degree

Jenelle Evans said she wants to turn her life around, and now the Teen Mom star is following through.

The young mother has been vocal about wanting to go back to school to get a degree as a surgical assistant, and this week she passed a big milestone toward that goal. Evans posted some recognition she received for her academic studies, letting Twitter fans know that she’s following through on her plans for life.

Jenelle is now using her accolades as a way to motivate others toward their own success.

Evans has been making other changes as well. She and boyfriend Nathan Griffith decided to quit smoking cigarettes and switched to vapor cigarettes instead. She has even backed away from the reality television drama that fans of Teen Mom 2 came to expect, quashing her feud with fellow young mother Amber Portwood.

But it’s not been an entirely easy road for Jenelle Evans. She is still fighting for custody of her oldest son, Jace Evans, who is currently living with Jenelle’s grandmother.

This week she ran into more trouble when a Twitter picture of her baby Kaiser led to more than 50 reports to Child Protective Services. The picture showed what appeared to be a black eye on little Kaiser, though Jenelle denied this was the case.

“U guys r seriously accusing me of giving Kai a black eye?! Wtf is wrong with all if u. CALL CPS. I dare u, idiots.”

Reports indicate that CPS found nothing wrong, and Jenelle Evans faces no charges in the matter.
