‘Destiny’: Xur’s Location And What’s He’s Selling This Weekend
Xûr, Agent of the Nine made his weekly appearance in the Tower for Destiny today. PlayStation and Xbox players can use their Strange Coins and Motes of Light to purchase Exotic weapons and armor for their Guardians that would be otherwise difficult to find in-game.
Those looking for Xûr can find him outside the entrance to the building where the Speaker is located. When you spawn at the Tower, just turn left and run down that hallway and keep going straight across until you reach the railing on the far side of the Speaker area. You can’t miss him, but here’s a map to help show where he is located as well.
Keep in mind though that Xûr and his wares will only be available until Sunday, October 12th at 5 a.m. ET / 2 a.m. PT. So collect all Strange Coins and Motes of lights that you can and don’t worry if you miss him. He’ll be back next Friday with a new collection of Exotic items.
Here is what Xûr is currently selling. A special thanks to DestinyDB for providing the information on each Exotic item. These are mostly replays from previous weeks, but that may be a good thing for those that had not raced through the game the first week.

For those wondering what to get, here are a few helpful hints.
If you don’t have an Exotic weapon yet, the Ice Breaker is a beast of a weapon and a must get. Its upgrades include the ability to automatically regenerate a bullet every couple of seconds. Another upgrade allows a shot that is missed to return the bullet to the magazine. This is all topped off by making killing shots explode to damage nearby enemies as well as causing massive damage.
The Helm of Inmost Light focuses on the Striker sub-class for Titans. It maxes out the melee damage and adds the Death from Above and Headstrong perks to the Fist of Havoc super.
Lucky Raspberry is specific to the Bladedancer sub-class for Hunter. It helps you start with full grenade energy on each spawn and lets the Arc Grenade chain further than normal.
Voidfang Vestments specific to the Voidwalker sub-class for Warlocks so you’ll only want to use it there. It helps you start with full grenade energy on each respawn and gives extra damage to the Axion Bolt grenade.
