WWE: Brock Lesnar MIA, Paul Heyman Forced To Stop Talking To Hide That Fact?

In the WWE, Brock Lesnar is considered good for business, but what is bad for business is when the fans begin to realize just how little the Beast is wrestling. Apparently, Vince McMahon and Triple H are sensitive to that fact, and rumors are claiming that Paul Heyman is being forced to put a sock in it so the WWE Universe does not notice Lesnar’s absence so keenly.

In a related report by The Inquisitr, Brock Lesnar Vs. The Big Show was apparently originally planned for Hell In A Cell 2014, but since Lesnar already trounced him at Royal Rumble, it seems likely that idea was cancelled. Now reports are claiming Lesnar may not return until Royal Rumble 2015, which caused some rumors to begin, saying that Vince McMahon was holding back Brock Lesnar from showing up due to his high fees and the continuing budget problems with the WWE Network.

As of this publishing, Lesnar has only worked four WWE PPV events in 2014, and a handful of non-PPV events, even though rumors claimed Brock Lesnar’s WWE contract would have him working Monday Night RAW on a more routine basis. According to the Wrestling Observer, via Wrestling Inc., the WWE is purposefully trying to downplay Paul Heyman in order to make certain fans don’t notice that a certain someone happens to be missing most days.

“As seen earlier, Paul Heyman cut a dark promo before last night’s WWE SmackDown tapings that ended up being posted to YouTube. No word yet if it will air on Friday’s SmackDown but as of earlier this week, WWE was going with the idea of keeping Heyman off TV for a while. Heyman was reportedly not at Monday’s RAW in Brooklyn. That plan could change but they don’t want to call attention to the fact that the WWE World Heavyweight Champion is away and missing pay-per-view events. As noted, Brock Lesnar isn’t scheduled to return until January.”

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so here’s one theory about why the WWE would not want Lesnar’s absence to be too noticeable.

The reason why keeping Paul Heyman quiet is important is because he might just say something like this again.

“You will see Brock Lesnar when your conqueror deems it appropriate to be seen by you. So Brock will appear when he damn well feels like appearing, unless you’ve got someone tough enough to drag him out there on nights he doesn’t feel like appearing before you. Brock Lesnar is not here 365 days a year, so when he appears, it’s can’t miss, it’s something extraordinary, it’s must see, it’s something special. Besides, if Brock Lesnar wrestled every single week, he would wipe out the entire WWE and in three months we’d have no one left to work with!”

Do you think it’s fair that Brock Lesnar could potentially miss several PPV events and yet still maintain his title as WWE Champion?
