Ashley Greene the New Face of DKNY Jeans

Ashley Greene has been unveiled as the new face (and legs and butt) of DKNY and DKNY Jeans. The 24-year-old actress and model, best known for playing Alice Cullen in the Twilight films, will first appear in the brands’ spring 2012 campaigns.

And get this, in what can only be descibed as a freakish coincidence, Green has always loved the DKNY brand. Woah, spooky stuff right here:

“I’ve always loved Donna Karan’s creations. To be a part of the brands’ message is incredibly exciting because it feels like such an organic fit. It’s easy to talk about how these clothes work for my lifestyle, whether I’m in New York, L.A. or traveling for work.”

Maybe my cynicism is misplaced, however. People reports how Greene has been spied in Donna Karan’s clothes a lot recently at Twilight premieres and charitable events. A few weeks back, she was snapped in this custom DK creation at the May Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala:

Greene’s first ads are expected to appear in the coming weeks, and will be shot by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
