Cote de Pablo Back On ‘NCIS’: Link For Ziva David’s Return In Season 12 Revealed?

Cote de Pablo could be coming back to NCIS and there have been some hints that she might return to her post as a special agent — or as Tony DiNozzo’s girlfriend — before the end of the season. The new plot of Season 12 sort of shows DiNozzo, played by actor Michael Weatherly, wanting to find love or just being lonely in general, even if his comments have been subtle. According to The International Business Times AU, there is a chance that Ziva David will fill a void at some point — and that could be in the department or in DiNozzo’s heart (fans would take either one at this point).

While some think that the actress is completely done with the show, writers and producers have said that she wasn’t killed off on purpose — and that the door for her return would be open. This is an idea that fans have hung on to for quite some time.

Cote de Pablo is currently on The Dovekeepers but she is still a part of the CBS family, which is another sign that NCIS isn’t so much of a dream as you might think. According to The Inquisitr, the show’s creator Gary Glasberg recently said that there is always a chance that Ziva could be written into the show again. “We didn’t kill her. So, Ziva’s still out there and she’s still alive — we’ll just have to see what happens,” explained Glasberg.

According to Enstars, the 34-year-old Chilean actress has made fast friends on The Dovekeepers set. Things are going really well for her — but that doesn’t mean that she will never return to NCIS. It is clear to most people that she just needed a break — a change of pace, if you will. The actress seems really happy but that doesn’t mean that she wouldn’t consider making an appearance on her old show.

Cote de Pablo could be back on NCIS for a quick few minutes, which is what some fans think will end up happening. With rumors that DiNozzo is going to have a new love interest this season, Ziva David could pop in just in time to wish DiNozzo well, or to say goodbye to him for good. Regardless of the capacity, fans seriously hope that something Ziva-related happens before the end of Season 12.
