Duchess Kate Could Debut Her Baby Bump — In The Big Apple!

Duchess Kate is pregnant and still suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, but sources say that she could be back on her feet and ready to resume her royal duties soon. According to People Magazine, Kate is at home with her parents in Bucklebery, where her mom is taking great care of her. Of course, Kate Middleton was very sick during the first trimester of her first pregnancy, so many are hopeful that this bad bout of sickness will pass over the next few weeks (sources say Kate is about 10 weeks along right now).

“When you’re ill, the place you feel most comfortable is at home with your mum, isn’t it? When she’s there, Kate can just relax and sit on the sofa and not have to worry about having to deal with all the staff and everything else that comes with a big palace full of rooms,” a source explained.

Duchess Kate has a toddler to care for this time around, which makes being sick even more difficult — never mind Kate’s hectic schedule in general. She has already had to cancel some appearances, which hasn’t been easy for her. However, Kate has the full support of her husband and her family, and once she is feeling better, she will be back to her normal routine.

According to another report by People Magazine, Prince William recently said that he wants to bring Kate to New York City in the coming months. Could that mean that the first official look at Kate Middleton’s baby bump is going to be during a public engagement in The States?

“The trip, set for later in the fall, may even see him bringing wife Kate with him. Although she has not been part of the original plans, it’s believed that the palace isn’t ruling out anything where she is concerned,” People Magazine reports. Of course, this will all depend on how Kate’s feeling, but it certainly sounds like she might be making the trip with her husband (and their son, Prince George?).

According to The Inquisitr, there are some rumors out there that Kate and William are expecting twins. While betting odds have shown that this is widely speculated, Kate’s condition in no way suggests that she is having twins. In fact, specialists say that hyperemesis gravidarum can be worse in a second pregnancy… so there really isn’t anything too telling when it comes to how Kate is feeling. Many are at least hoping for a little girl, and rumor has it she will be named Elizabeth Diana after the Queen and Prince William’s late mother. If the couple has another boy, his name will likely be James.
