Kendall Jenner Praised By Top Designer For ‘Not Trading On Her Name’

Kendall Jenner’s attempts to turn herself into a bona fide professional model continue to blossom, and she has even been praised to the hilt by renowned designer, Michael Kors, because of her talents.

Kors not only declared that Kendall deserves credit for “not trading on her name,” but he also believes that he has let her skills do the talking. Jenner continues to earn rave reviews thanks to her efforts, even though there had been a spate of rumors that she was bullied at New York Fashion Week. None of this has stopped Jenner though and she has progressed from one fashion show to the next with ease, which has included traveling to Paris, Milan and New York for work.

Kors has now come out with a hoard of praise for the burgeoning model while talking to EOnline, and he explained that he adores how her card simply reads, Kendall, which means she isn’t trying to profit from her famous family.

“I think she’s a strong, powerful, great-looking girl. She’s a real professional. I love that her card just says Kendall. So she’s not trading on her name and I think she’s going to have a great career.”

Of course, Kendall can’t really help but profit from her family’s exploits as she has starred in Keeping Up With The Kardashians ever since she was 12-years-old, but there’s no denying the fact that she is clearly moving up the fashion ladder with ease, and the industry wouldn’t have allowed her to reach such an echelon if she didn’t have the skill to do so.

As you can imagine, there has previously been speculation that Kendall has only reached her position thanks to the help of her older step-sister, Kim Kardashian, and her new-husband, Kanye West. But these are clearly wide of the mark as her hard work and dedication to her craft has been evident ever since she first stepped foot onto a cat-walk.

According to International Business Times, during a recent interview with LOVE magazine, Kendall opened up about the naysayers that have dismissed her career.

“People think that this [success] just came to me. But it didn’t. What I have has almost worked against me. I had to work even harder to get where I wanted because people didn’t take me seriously as a model.”

Recent rumors have even suggested that Jenner is about to make the next step up in her career by becoming the next Victoria’s Secret Angel.
