Phaedra Parks Divorce: Apollo Nida Getting Served Papers In Prison?

Phaedra Parks has reportedly begun the divorce process. According to Reality Tea, The Real Housewives Of Atlanta star has drawn up divorce papers and plans to leave her husband, Apollo Nida, while he’s in jail. Despite some reports that the reality star would be sticking by her man no matter what, sources close to the lawyer say that she is already one step closer to being a single woman.

“Phaedra’s starting the divorce process all on her own. She has drawn up papers herself,” a source shared.

Phaedra and Apollo hadn’t been on the greatest of terms leading up to his prison sentence (he’s been convicted of money laundering), so a split actually wouldn’t be surprising.

Phaedra Parks has been laying fairly low when it comes to Apollo Nida’s legal drama. In fact, the entertainment lawyer didn’t show up to any of his court dates, and sources say that she hasn’t spoken to or seen him since he turned himself in for his eight year prison sentence. According to Radar Online, many claim that Phaedra has already moved on… and that she’s been having an affair. She, of course, denies these rumors. Could this be because an affair would void her pre-nup?

“She and Apollo were doing fine until she stopped showing up to his [court dates]… Apollo knew something was different. He found her phone and downloaded messages. This was all captured on film. When Phaedra thought he had left for prison, he showed up at their home as she was changing the locks. He confronted her about the affair rumors,” a source told Radar Online.

While Phaedra has been denying these stories left and right, sources say that the truth will come out on the next season of RHOA. Apparently much of these claims were caught on camera by Bravo.

Phaedra Parks divorce rumors have been circulating for months. Most people don’t believe that Parks has any plans to stick out the next eight years of her life and support Nida. He is a criminal after all. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, the 40-year-old reality star has stayed focused on her own life over the past couple of months. She is getting through this the best that she can, but many expect her to file divorce papers soon.

“Phaedra’s doing great. She’s basically working. That’s how I deal with things too; when I have a lot going on, I just put more into work, I know that she’s promoting her book and doing the book tour and stuff like that and she’s not really trying to focus as much on what’s happening.”
