Batman: Arkham City PC gets a (new) release date

After Rocksteady and Warner Bros. Interactive disappointingly decided to delay the PC version of Batman: Arkham City, they’ve finally announced just when in November PC gamers will be able to take on the role of the World’s Greatest Detective.

Warner Bros. announced that Batman: Arkham City will be hitting a PC near you on November 15 in North America. Our pals over in the U.K. will be able to get their hands on it only a few days later on November 18.

Neither Warner Bros. Interactive nor Rocksteady ever bothered to provide an explanation for the delay of the PC version, but unexplained PC delays of multiplatform titles seems to be par for the course nowadays, regardless of the publisher.

The console versions of Batman: Arkham City ships today and, if console reviews are anything to go by, it’s looking the month-long wait for Batman: Arkham City is going to be well worth it for PC gamers. As of writing, the Xbox 360 version of Batman: Arkham City is sitting at an impressive 95 Metacritic rating based on 32 reviews – several of which are perfect scores.

If that alone isn’t enough to sell you on the game, you can check out the Batman: Arkham City launch trailer directly below.
