Kathy Wakile Works With Kevin Jonas To Get Back On ‘RHONJ?’
Kathy Wakile was downgraded to a friend of the housewives for this season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Kathy had shared her journey with her family on the show, showing viewers how the Wakiles live their lives in New Jersey. But fans also got to follow Richard’s do-it-yourself lifestyle, where he was trying to build Kathy’s dessert business from the ground-up.
Kathy Wakile returned to the show this season with the intention of supporting Jacqueline Laurita, who wanted to reach out to Teresa Giudice after she pleaded guilty. But when Wakile returned to the show, she had a celebrity in tow. Kevin Jonas from The Jonas Brothers was introduced as one of the builders on her new house.
According to a new Bravo report, Kathy Wakile returned to The Real Housewives of New Jersey with Jonas in tow, revealing that she was working with top names in the industry to build her home. And naturally, people thought twice about why she would bring him on as a cameo.
“Rich and I were introduced to Kevin Jonas and his partner Bill Werner through our mutual friend and realtor. There were a few very good qualities in their building style that we were drawn to, in particular the fact that they were practical in their construction approach and goals. And Kevin has an extensive knowledge of home automation and electronic features for the home,” Kathy explains of her decision to bring Jonas onto the show.
Even though the cameo may have been innocent, other things have happened to make it seem like she is using his fame to get back onto The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Recently when Wakile was signing books, Kevin showed up to support her. In other words, fans got to see both Wakile and Kevin Jonas.
Second, Kathy Wakile released her dessert book around the time that Teresa Giudice announced that she was releasing a dessert book as well to go with her other line of cookbooks. Kathy Wakile may not compete with Teresa Giudice on purpose, but it does seem like she is using Kevin Jonas’ popularity to show fans that she does have a storyline worth pursuing, according to The Inquisitr.
It is unknown how much Kathy Wakile will be on The Real Housewives of New Jersey this season, but she could make some cameo appearances on Manzo’d with Children, which airs this Sunday on Bravo.
