Tar Pit Creature Rescue Took Two Days, Video Shows Amazing Transformation

A poor creature stuck inside a hot tar pit in India was almost unrecognizable due to all the leaves, grass, and other debris covering its body. The entire rescue took two days of painstaking effort, but the amazing transformation was caught on video.

In a related report by The Inquisitr, when police officers found a poor animal struggling in a mud bog, they were shocked to find a dog who had been stuck for several days. The amazing rescue was caught on video. But what is even more amazing is a video showing a blind dog named after Helen Keller who can play fetch despite not being able to see the ball.

Animal Aid Unlimited, a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing animals in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India, recently posted the video of the tar pit creature being rescued. The poor animal was stuck to the ground due to the tar, and it had stiffened to the point the poor creature could move nothing but its eyes.

“He had fallen into a pool of hot tar that smothered his body and had became rock-solid,” the YouTube video description said of the animal. “He was stuck to the ground and unable to move. A passerby saw him struggling and called our help-line. After 3 hours of massaging vegetable oil into the thick layer of tar watch his amazing recovery!”

Underneath all that hot mess was a brown dog. Although the poor dog was obviously suffering from lack of food, by the end of the video the animal is wagging its tail and eating, seemingly no worse for having spent two days encased inside tar.
