‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Spoilers: Season 1, Episode 2 Brings Familiar Faces In To Help Big Case

The new show NCIS: New Orleans got off to a monster start with the debut episode last week and people are curious to see if it can perform that strongly in episode 2. Scott Bakula is leading the way on this new franchise version and there are other strong cast members as well. What NCIS: New Orleans spoilers are available for “Carrier” airing on September 30?

Quite a few NCIS stars will be heading to New Orleans as guest stars in this episode. Michael Weatherly, who plays DiNozzo on the original, along with Pauley Perrette, Rocky Carroll and Meredith Eaton, who plays Abby’s friend Carol, will all show up in Tuesday’s episode.

CBS teases NCIS: New Orleans spoilers that DiNozzo will assist the team in New Orleans when a Navy lieutenant on liberty dies from the bubonic plague. A sailor is hit by a car and killed, but as network previews tease, it doesn’t take long for the team to determine there was something more than alcohol and bad choices involved in this death.

The team scrambles to touch base with all of the sailors on liberty before an outbreak happens. They’re also aiming to find the source of the disease, but will they find what they need? From the looks of things, they may have their hands full and then some with this case.

How do the original NCIS team members figure into it all? It seems Di Nozzo is sent to New Orleans from Washington D.C. to help in the search for the sailors on liberty. Since he was exposed to the bubonic plague a number of years ago, it is thought that he may have built up tolerance to it and be a helpful set of hands in this new scramble.

Another NCIS: New Orleans spoiler preview from CBS shows that Agent LaSalle is hesitant to put himself on the ship to search for the origination of the disease. Lucky for him he won’t have to go. Special Agent Pride says he’s already planning on going.

As the search for affected sailors takes place, network previews show that the team will bust in on a dicey game of cards. The rough-looking locals may have gotten more than they bargained for when it came to this one.

Will the team be able to find answers before anybody else dies? Fans will certainly be tuning in to find out. Episode 2 of NCIS: New Orleans airs on CBS on Tuesday, September 30.
