FKA Twigs Hit With Racist Comments Due To Robert Pattinson Romance
FKA twigs has been receiving a ton of hateful, racist messages since she started dating Robert Pattinson. According to InTouch Weekly, the English singer took to Twitter to slam haters after she was shocked by what some people had to say to her. It is believed that most comments that were made stemmed from the singer’s relationship with the Twilight hunk, which is said to be serious at this point.
Apparently fans don’t like that Rob is dating a new chick… so they have been hitting FKA twigs where they shouldn’t. Plenty of people have pulled out the race card, which is ridiculous to say the very least. There have been derogatory slurs used, and some have compared the singer’s looks to that of a monkey. It’s no wonder that she chose to speak out about the comments.

FKA twigs and Robert Pattinson have been dating for a couple of months now, though they have only recently taken their romance public. The two have been seen together holding hands and what-not, and this has infuriated fans. Some are just jealous in general, while others are heartbroken because they were (still) hoping that Rob would rekindle his romance on Kristen Stewart (yes, even though she cheated on him).
According to the New York Daily News, FKA twigs was most recently ripped apart when she posted this photo on Instagram:
Several people posted messages to FKA twigs, and most of those messages were very hurtful. “Let’s hope Rob pays for some facial reconstruction,” wrote one Instagram user. “Damn she [ugly] af,” wrote another. While plenty of people chose to stick up for the singer and let her know that she is beautiful, the comments on her photo were simply shocking.
Moving past the negativity coming from fans, the media has been having a good amount of fun with this new couple as well. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, there are rumors that Rob is thinking about proposing to his new lady friend… and that she is pregnant with his child… but that’s less believable. Rob recently said that he thinks he’s done with Los Angeles… could he be moving back to London to be with FKA twigs on a full time basis? It’s totally possible.
