Val Chmerkovskiy Accuses Antonio Sabato Jr Of Cheating, ‘DWTS’ Feud Erupts Backstage

The competition is heating up on Dancing with the Stars, and not just on stage. Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that pro-dancer Val Chmerkovskiy has been feuding behind the scenes with celebrity dancer, Antonio Sabato Jr., accusing him of cheating on his wife with his partner, Cheryl Burke.

Val, who is partnered with Pretty Little Liars star Janel Parrish, is reportedly trying to make Sabato’s experience on the ABC show a “living hell” so that he and Janel will come out on top and win the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy this season.

“Part of Maks’s strategy was to get under the skin of other dancers and throw them off their games. If Val has learned anything from him, it’s that being feisty and even confrontational can really get you ahead.”

GLOBE Magazine states that Antonio has been “steaming” on the DWTS set because Val confronted his partner, Cheryl Burke, telling her to “watch out” for Sabato because the former soap opera star has a reputation of being a ladies man. That didn’t go over too well with Antonio, who is rumored to have called Val out, telling him that he is happily married to Cheryl Moana Marie and to “mind his own business.”

Antonio married his current wife in 2012, a year after she gave birth to their son, Antonio. People reports that Sabato married the singer-songwriter in Hawaii in 2009 while filming his short-lived reality show, My Antonio. He also has two children from two different relationships prior to meeting Cheryl. His son, Jack, 20, is from his relationship with actress Virginia Madsen. Antonio’s daughter, Mina, 12, is from a his relationship with Kristin Rossetti that lasted from 2000 to 2007. Sabato was also married briefly from 1992 to 1993 to Alicia Tully Jenson.

Celeb Dirty Laundry’s report that Val is stirring up trouble could simply be a rumor, but it’s also possible that he’s going after anyone who threatens his chance to win this season of Dancing with the Stars.

His brother, Maksim, was always a bit controversial when he was a pro-dancer on the show, so perhaps he’s following in his brother’s footsteps and turning up the heat on Antonio in hopes that he’ll get so nervous on the dance floor he will end up getting eliminated from the show.

Do you think Val is trying to scare off the competition so he can win Dancing with the Stars, or is this just another unconfirmed rumor?
