Donatella Versace and H&M have just released their catalogue for the 2011 fall season. The fashion icon and the Sweedish retailer teamed up to create one of the most hyped fashion lines of the year.

H&M, who frequently collaborates with fashion designers, announced in June that Italian designer Donatella Versace would create an H&M collection that would be available world wide for low prices. Well, the months of waiting are now over. Do you think the Versace for H&M line lived up to the hype?

Of course, all fashion fans can do at the moment is ogle the colorful images from Versace for H&M. The line doesn’t official hit H&M stores until November 17th in the UK and November 19th in the US. The new collection will feature 40-piece women’s line and a 20-piece men’s line.

An H&M Spokesperson told All Media NY: “[The line] will look back on the heritage of the [Versace] brand, full of leather, print, colour and exuberance in exclusive materials.”

Donatella Versace said: “I can’t wait to see how H&M’s wide audience will make these pieces their own.”

Donatella unveiled a few images from the new campaign in the October issue of Vogue. Donatella said that the new line was heavily influenced by the style of her late brother and that she wanted to capture the “essence of Versace.”

Donatella said: “For (H&M), I put together what looks, for me, very Versace today.”
