ISIS Beheading Group Targets Woman For ‘Abandoning Islam’

More news on the ISIS beheading group tonight as the Islamic State has targeted a woman for “abandoning Islam.”

According to Fox News, militants kidnapped Samira Salih al-Nuaimi, tortured her for five days, and ordered her public execution because she had reportedly made Facebook posts criticizing the group for its destruction of religious sites in Mosul.

The “apostasy” charge that she was “convicted” of in a Sharia court is defined as not just leaving the Islamic faith for a non-Islamic religion, but for abandoning the teachings of Islam altogether.

Samira Salih al-Nuaimi was said to be a human rights attorney in Iraq. She was seized last week while at home with her husband and three children, according to two individuals with direct knowledge of the event.

Since the execution, her Facebook page has been removed though it’s unclear whether that was done by the family or the ISIS beheading group itself.

The news comes amid recent fears that the group pushing for a new caliphate in Iraq has broken through U.S. borders. As many of you know by now, Colleen Hufford, a plant worker in Moore, Oklahoma, was attacked and beheaded on Friday by a man reported as having ties with the Islamic faith.

ISIS, or ISIL as they are also referred, have definitely made it into Australia though they’ve yet to execute an attack due to a multitude of arrests made by police officials.

In the case of Samira Salih al-Nuaimi, the ISIS beheading groups continue to mobilize the opposition.

“By torturing and executing a female human rights’ lawyer and activist, defending in particular the civil and human rights of her fellow citizens in Mosul, ISIL continues to attest to its infamous nature, combining hatred, nihilism and savagery, as well as its total disregard of human decency,” said Nickolay Mladenov, the U.N. envoy to Iraq, in a statement.

Two days ago, the Daily Caller website reported that ISIS militants were planning what they called a “brilliant attack” on New York.

In a video conference interview, Farah Shirdon (also known as Abu Usamah Somali) announced the plans.

“We’ll sure be making attacks in New York soon. A lot of brothers there are mobilizing right now,” Shirdon said, adding that they were mobilizing for “a brilliant attack” and claiming that ISIS has captured “thousands” from the West that they planned to continue beheading if attacks on the militant group continue.

“We have thousands of prisoners from the West that we have that we will have to behead,” Shirdon stated. “Maybe I have your cousin here, you don’t know. Or your distant cousin, or your uncle. We have them with us and you don’t know.”

Do you think ISIS will be able to continue beheading prisoners for the foreseeable future, or are the attacks from the U.S. and other countries doing the job?
