George Stephanopoulos asked about the dog on ABC’s This Week, saying he was passing along the question from Obama’s daughters: “What kind of a dog are we getting and when are we getting it?”

Obama: “They seem to have narrowed it down to a Labradoodle or a Portuguese Water Hound … medium-sized dog, and so, we’re now going to start looking at shelters to see when one of those dogs might come up.”

Stephanopoulos: “So, you’re closing in on it?”

Obama: “We’re closing in on it. This has been tougher than finding a commerce secretary.”

  1. For anyone who voted George W. Bush into office and has the audacity to complain about the dog story. I am sick and tired of those of you who look for fault in the president-elect before he has had the opportunity to take office. If your concern ran so deep about unemployment, war, home forclosures and all of the other problems we are living through these days, why did you elect George Bush for not one but two terms? Bush has been the ultimate do-nothing president in the history of this country and is totally responsible for the financial mess we are in today (billions of dollars a month for this war and now he does not know if democracy is sustainable in Iraq). Bush has had a free ride for the last 8 years, now everyone wants to pretend that this is President Elect Obama's mess and he hasen't even been sworn into office yet. I'm happy to read about the first-dog, it totally gives me a moment of distraction from all of the “lightbulb” moments Bush seems to be experiencing. If he could just vacate the premises already that would truly work for me, the most pathetic leader of the free world the British were right “the man can't run a fruit stand.”

Obama is in media from being president and it is obvious thing so nothing is surprising in it. But I can not understand that why people always talking about his dog. We can talk about his boo but this is so much as per my opinion.
