Snooki’s Baby Finally Arrives: Baby Giovanna Is Simply Adorable [Pics]
Former Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi gave birth to a baby girl on Friday morning. The proud mama shared the big news with over 6.9 million fans on Twitter, revealing the new arrival’s name, weight and stating that her new daughter is “perfect.”

Baby makes a family of four for Nicole and her fiance, Jionni LaValle who have an adorable 2-year-old son, Lorenzo. There is no doubt Snooki will have her hands full when she gets home from the hospital and has to manage an active toddler and a new baby.

According to Hollywood Life, Snooki’s publicist, Stacey Wechsler of Hired Gun Publicity, also alerted Jersey Shore fans about the newborn’s arrival.
“We can confirm that Nicole and Jionni welcomed their baby girl Giovanna Marie LaValle at 4:28am this morning, Lorenzo’s little sister weighs 6lbs, 4oz Nicole & her daughter are doing amazing.”
ABC News reports that Polizzi stated prior to her daughter’s arrival that she stocked up on “bows and pinks and animal prints” for the baby and was more than ready to deliver after what seemed to be an endless pregnancy.
On Thursday, Snooki wrote on her blog that she couldn’t deal with being pregnant anymore, and that her pregnancy felt much longer than her first because she gave birth to her first child, Lorenzo, two weeks early.
“I’m at that point where I can’t move, I can’t sleep, I’m waking up 20 times throughout the night, rolling out of bed, waddling to the bathroom and praying that my mucus plug falls out and my water breaks and I’m just ready to go at this point. I don’t care. I just wanna go. I’m literally doing everything I can.”
Apparently all of Nicole’s whining helped move little Giovanna along, because she went into labor less than 24 hours after posting on her blog. Following the birth, Snooki’s best friend and new mom Jenni “JWoWW” Farley, posted her congratulations and a beautiful picture of the new baby on her blog.
“My best friend gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl …. Giovanna is a stunning 6.7lb perfect angel!”
Fans of the reality TV star will not be surprised to learn that Snooki was wearing an animal print nightgown and was in full makeup when she showed off baby Giovanna to Jenni and her fiance Roger Matthews on Friday. The baby mama had plenty of style, as always, and was clearly beaming at her brand-new daughter.
