Stevie Johnson Is Running His Own Awesome ‘Fantasy Workplace’ Team

Stevie Johnson just invented an awesome alternative to fantasy football.

The San Francisco 49ers wide receiver decided to turn the tables on fans who draft their favorite players to rack up points for them each week, creating his own kind of fantasy league using ordinary people.

The idea was an immediate hit, and fans started tweeting Stevie Johnson about their performances. Stevie took the news in stride.

Fans of all sorts joined in, even those who may not have a physical workplace.

Stevie also used the new fantasy work league to give props to some of his 1 million Twitter followers.

Stevie Johnson is off to a fresh start in San Francisco after spending the first six years of his career in Buffalo. After posting three consecutive 1,000 yard seasons, Stevie took a step back in 2013 and had just 52 receptions for 597 yards and three touchdowns. He also missed several games with injury and was excused from the last two contests after the death of his mother.

But Stevie has made the most of his new setting, notching his first 100 yard receiving game — which is great news for anyone with him on their real fantasy football team.

And just a note to anyone reading this in the office — you’d better get back to work now. You wouldn’t want to let Stevie Johnson down.
