‘Teen Mom’ Star Jenelle Evans Stalls Custody: ‘I Don’t Want Jace To Hate Me’

Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans may have turned her life around with the goal of having her son live with her again, but it sounds like she may be changing her mind as her son is getting older. When he was younger, he could easily relocate from Barbara’s home to Jenelle’s house, but now he is starting to make friends in school, and Evans doesn’t want to ruin that.

Jenelle Evans has once said that her primary goal was to get Jace back, but it sounds like her opinion has changed now that Kaiser is with her. On yesterday’s episode of the show, Jenelle kept telling Nathan that she wanted to get custody of her son, but in response to the episode, she was tweeting her opinions to fans.

According to a new set of tweets, Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans may not pursue custody of Jace, because she doesn’t want Jace to hold it against her. On Teen Mom, Evans revealed that she didn’t want Jace to hate her for taking him away from his friends in school. And as the episode was airing, Jenelle may have hinted that custody is not a primary concern at the moment.

Nathan thought that Evans should push for custody, as he didn’t see the problem in doing the custody switch now. Since her first son is just 5-years-old, he can easily make other friends in a new school.

But Jenelle Evans may not be ready for another child in her home. She was recently criticized for smoking while breastfeeding her son, Kaiser. And she did indeed admit to doing it. In fact, she tweeted that she was smoking while typing out her admission to the world. Some reports claimed that Child Protective Services should get involved, given her past.

According to The Inquisitr, Jenelle Evans admits that she hates seeing her son cry. Her mother has admitted that she would hate to see Jace move to Jenelle’s home, because she would hate to see Jace feel abandoned by her. Barbara has been taking care of Jace since his birth, so it isn’t surprising that she feels attached to him.

But Barbara had agreed that she would sign over custody to Jenelle Evans when the time was right. This could be a long fight for Evans, especially if her mother isn’t holding up her end of the bargain. While Nathan may push for Evans to get Jace back, Jenelle is thinking more about the welfare and needs of her son.

What do you think of Jenelle Evans’ plans to slow down the custody process? Do you think she should fight for her son?
