Michael J. Fox Dead? Just Another Tacky Celebrity Hoax

Michael J. Fox has started to trend on Twitter. Because he doesn’t have a new television show to promote, fans of the legendary actor thought the worst and immediately started to give more attention to a rumor that he had passed away.

Fear not, Back To The Future fans, Michael J. Fox is not dead, and he is actually alive and well. If the death hoax wasn’t tacky enough, some people are taking the fact that his name is trending to a new low. Some individuals have decided to tweet mean and unnecessary jokes about the actor, who has suffered from Parkinson’s disease for years.

Some fans were just genuinely panicked by Fox’s name trending on Twitter and asked for answers upon seeing the trend.

Tensions are still running high from Robin Williams’ sudden death. As The Inquisitr reported, the comedian committed suicide and was found hours later in his California home. While Williams was dealing with depression and alcoholism for decades, his wife released a statement revealing that he was dealing with the early stages of Parkinson’s disease.

Upon hearing the new revelation, Michael J. Fox took to Twitter to express his shock.

Thankfully Michael J. Fox is alive and well. Even though he doesn’t have a show of his own to promote, he has returned to the CBS hit The Good Wife. The actor has had a recurring role on the drama for a few years as lawyer Louis Canning. So far, he’s been nominated for four Emmys for his villainous role on the show.

Looks like Fox is doing just fine, Twitter trend or not.
