Isobel is being pursued by Lord Merton and once again, and there should be entertaining scenes between Isobel and Violet in Episode 2. Mary seemingly moves forward with her willingness to pursue a relationship with Tony Gillingham on her own terms. While Lady Mary used to worry a great deal about her reputation, it seems now she’s looking at things differently, and wants to grasp the opportunity that lies ahead. It had looked like there would be romance blossoming between Sarah and Tom, and while she remains in the picture, it’s not all smooth sailing for this potential duo.

Is Lady Mary going to stick with her decision to be with Tony Gillingham? How long can Lady Edith keep her secret? There’s plenty more to come in Season 5 of Downton Abbey, and fans cannot wait.
