Kelly Ripa Penthouse: Star And Husband Mark Consuelos Finally Sell Home For $20 Million

Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa’s penthouse sold for $20 million after being on the market for about 20 months. The couple may have had to wait quite some time for the right buyer, but they still made some cool cash on the deal considering they purchased the Soho penthouse in 2005 for $9.5 million. Granted, the Live! With Kelly and Michael host and her husband did do some significant upgrades to the house, but now they are heading elsewhere.

According to the Daily Mail, Kelly Ripa’s penthouse that just sold has five bedrooms and is a two-story unit on Crosby Street. It also has five bathrooms, a media room and two home offices. A big draw for the NYC home is the outdoor space that covers 2,500-square feet. The space includes a fireplace, an outdoor shower and a hot tub along with flat-screen televisions and a second kitchen.

There is dark wood flooring inside the home, along with a grand staircase in the living room. Of course, the kitchen in Kelly Ripa’s penthouse is top-notch. It has a huge center island, marble touches, two refrigerators, two dishwashers and plenty of seating.

Who purchased Kelly Ripa’s penthouse after it was on the market for nearly two years? Reports via the Daily News indicate that real estate investor Alex Adjmi purchased the home. While Kelly and Mark had the penthouse listed at $24.5 million initially, it seems they ended up settling for $20 million when all was said and done. Adjmi is said to want the Crosby Street penthouse as an investment property.

Mark and Kelly, who have been married for 18 years and have three children, haven’t revealed much about where they are headed next. Kelly Ripa’s penthouse move had been a challenge for her; in fact, she even joked about it being a nightmare during a recent show. Live! With Kelly and Michael fans would love to hear about her new home and many are hoping that Ripa will reveal some stories once all of the dust settles.

This has been a busy year for Kelly and Mark. In addition to selling the home they’ve had for nearly a decade and planning a move, Ripa recently attended the wedding between How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris and his new husband David Burtka. Kelly had some fun stories to share on the show fans and naturally fans ate it up. Now everybody hopes that they’ll get some new Kelly Ripa penthouse stories as well, since the deal seems to be done.
