Large 100-Yard Drawing Of Penis Etched Into Football Field, Mother And Daughter To Blame

A high school was recently given a grand surprise when they saw their football field. It may not have the precise anatomical correctness of the real thing, but since they were aiming for size, they got it because it spanned a whole 100 yards — which is the entire length of the football field! So what was this surprise shown on the football field? It was a large drawing of male genitalia.

Reports are coming in that a Monroe County high school football field was vandalized with a large drawing of male genitalia that spanned the entire length of the football field. Yep! You read that right. Someone just drew a penis on a football field.

According to Detroit Free Press, the damage done to the Bedford High School field has forced officials to relocate a portion of all football games and other activities to another location. Superintendent Mark Kleinhans is furious at the time and expense it will take to undo the prank. As of now, the estimate is about $10,000 but that could be more or less especially if workers are paid by the hour or the day. Kleinhans expressed his anger in the following statement.

“It’s ridiculous. I’m sure the individuals involved probably had no idea the impact, but it’s just absolutely ridiculous!”

The article reports that the responsible parties probably got their idea from a similar prank from another school down in Florida. The specific incident is unclear, but the Tampa Bay Times reported back in May about a similar prank at Nature Coast Technical High School in Brooksville, Florida. What is worse is the prank happened just before graduation for the class of 2014, which may or may not have caused an issue for them.

As of now, a 16-year-old teenage girl with a 17-year-old teenage boy are being called into questioning for the incident involving a penis drawn into the football field, according to an article by The Blaze. However, what is truly messed up is that the article also reports that a 50-year-old woman is also called in for questioning — the mother of the 16-year-old teenage girl. If the three are truly the perpetrators responsible for this heinous crime, they’ll have to deal with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, which plans to seek criminal charges. The mom may also get an extra charge for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

“We are going to prosecute to the full extent of the law. This isn’t a little prank misdemeanor. This is a felony.”

To conclude this article, Superintendent Mark Kleinhans had this to say, especially because the prank was supposedly inspired by finding the Brooksville, Florida, incident.

“Parents need to talk to their kids about what they see on the Internet and what they’re choosing to do. Kids see things on the Internet that they think are cool and they want to mimic these. Well, they need to really think about what they see and what they do. … This is going to cost someone really big.”
