‘Batman V Superman’: Batmobile Spotted In New Videos, Photos

As production for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice continues to film at night, we are getting more Batmobile photos and videos to enjoy. Thanks to several Twitter and Instagram users, we get an even better look at what Zack Snyder is doing with Batman’s awesome car.

The film has been shooting a car chase scene for the past week in Detroit, and on Friday, new clips and photos of the Batmobile were making their rounds online. Love it or hate it, Batman v Superman director Zack Sndyer came up with a pretty sick car. In the latest images and footage, we can appreciate it even more.

Comic Book Movie, one of the hundreds of websites following the production closely, has several clips taken by fans and posted to Instagram. Some are grainy and dark, but that is to be expected when trying to catch a glimpse of the nighttime shoot.

Some Twitter users who have also followed the shoot previously spotted these boats, which now appear to be destroyed. In early September, this is what they saw.

On Friday, things had changed dramatically on the Batman v Superman set, and this is how the remnants of those boats looked on this video, shared by All Entertainment News on Insta.

Snyder has used several locations in the Detroit area, as well as the city itself, during the Batman v Superman filming. With the Batmobile officially revealed by the director a few days ago, all eyes are on whether Ben Affleck will finally make an appearance.

However, the Oscar winning director is currently promoting his latest film, Gone Girl, and is presumably not on set at this time. So whoever is spinning the Batmobile around on the Batman v Superman set is not Affleck.

Thus far, the best photos of the Batmobile in action come courtesy of Auto Blog. You can view the complete set of images on their website.

More videos of the Batmobile in action are posted on YouTube (hurry before Warner Bros. takes them down).

To add a little bit of excitement to the mix (like fans need any more), director J.J. Abrams posted a short video featuring the Batmobile and the legendary Millennium Falcon on Thursday. This is part of a game Abrams and Snyder are playing on Twitter, which has the Batman v Superman and Star Wars geeks up in a frenzy. Here is the video, in case you missed it.
