Teresa Giudice Is ‘Very, Very Concerned’ About Looming Court Date

Teresa Giudice is said to be “very, very concerned” about her upcoming Oct. 2 sentencing. The Real Housewives Of New Jersey star is trying to keep working while she and her husband, Joe, plan for the worst case scenario. According to E! News, legal crisis manager Wendy Feldman recently spoke out about what her clients have been going through — and just how unique of a situation this actually is.

“They’re nervous, as any couple going through a sentencing would be. And they’re doing this while trying to maintain Teresa’s career. It’s a really, really unique case. Never before have a husband and wife been up for sentencing while on a live TV show. Right now, there’s a ton of work going on behind the scenes.”

Teresa Giudice faces about two years behind bars while Joe Giudice faces just over four. While many people think that Teresa will be sentenced to probation and/or house arrest and Joe will go to jail, Teresa is getting more nervous as the days drift by. The couple was supposed to be sentenced earlier this summer, but their court date was moved after the sudden, unexpected death of Joe’s father. Their court date was then moved to September and then to October.

The media has pretty much had a field day when it comes to Teresa and Joe’s legal problems. Since there has been a lot of time between the initial hearing and the couple’s sentencing, there has been all kinds of speculation surrounding what will become of the reality stars. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, the most recent rumor involved Teresa being pregnant. There was some chatter about Teresa believing that baby #5 would spare her from jail. However, Tre isn’t having a baby.

Joe and Teresa Giudice have listed both of their homes for sale. According to Philly.com, the couple listed their mansion in Towaco, New Jersey, for $3.99 million, and their shore house has been listed for $315,000. On The Real Housewives Of New Jersey, Teresa has talked about downsizing, and even told her BFF Dina Manzo that she had been looking at smaller, more affordable homes to raise her four daughters. Of course moving is quite a big deal for the whole family, but Tre and Joe really don’t have a choice.

The couple will need the money from the sale of their homes for restitution, court fees, and attorney fees.
