Avril Lavigne, Chad Kroeger’s Marriage Is ‘Over’ [Rumor]

Avril Lavigne’s marriage to Chad Kroeger may be in more trouble than originally thought. Sources are coming forward and claiming that the couple is fighting more often than not, and some state that Kroeger is going around town saying that they are divorcing.

The rumor mill has been running rampant for a while now with stories that Avril Lavigne’s marriage to Nickleback’s Chad Kroeger has been falling apart. While the “Hello Kitty” singer has been keeping her relationship status on the down low, sources close to the couple are claiming that things simply aren’t working out between the two.

According to E! News, a source close to the couple has come forward and is saying that the two have been “fighting a lot” and that “they’re having a lot of issues.”

“The main issue is this: When they met, they were in work mode. They were doing a collaboration and that’s where the attraction stemmed from. She was in the studio and he was producing her. She was also coming off some bad relationships where she didn’t really feel appreciated as an artist. She felt she and Chad connected on that level.”

The source went on to tell E! News that since their album didn’t do too well, “they’re finding that they’re not seeing eye to eye on a lot of things.”

Working relationships don’t always turn out to be the best romantic relationships, so is it really any wonder as to why the two may be having a rough time together? While their working relationship may be causing some tension between the two, another source spoke out to Us Weekly and said that the relationship between Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger is simply over.

“It’s over,” said the source to Us Weekly. “He has been going around L.A. telling people that they are divorcing.”

The troubles aren’t only with Kroeger, according to E! News. The insider for the site went on to say that there are issues with jealousy on both sides of the marriage.

“She flirts, he flirts. She’s very insecure to begin with.”

With the rumors continuing to spread, that doesn’t mean Avril and Chad are ready to call it quits just yet. As of now, the source close to the couple believes the two singers are going to just try and make things work for now.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen. She really wants to have a baby. She was hoping, after this album, to take time off and start a family. I think for now they’re going to try to work it out.”
