‘Million Dollar Listing’ Star Ryan Serhant Shuts Down Times Square For Proposal

Million Dollar Listing star Ryan Serhant is known for going big on everything he does. He has filmed commercial films for some of his listings in hopes of drawing people in, and he even learned how to dance to win back his girlfriend on the previous season of the show after she walked out on him.

But Ryan Serhant got Emilia Bechrakis back after making a big effort. And he wasn’t about to lose her again. He decided to propose to her in the early morning hours this week and given his resume, he wanted to go big and grand. Serhant decided to shut down Times Square for a special moment for the two of them.

According to a new Bravo report, Million Dollar Listing star Ryan Serhant reveals that he wasn’t about to do a regular proposal. He wanted to make it something to remember, both for himself and his future wife.

“No one has ever done something like this. But I’m only going to propose once in my life so I wanted to make sure that I did something special,” Ryan has revealed after the proposal, adding, “I wasn’t going to propose like a p–sy.”

And it sounds like Ryan Serhant went through quite the hoops to get Times Square shut down. He had to contact the Mayor’s Office to shut down the famous spot for an hour at 7 in the morning. But it sounds like Emilia was not disappointed with the early date with Serhant

“It worked!” Ryan revealed about Emilia’s response, adding, “This is the most incredible day! Words really can’t describe what I’m feeling.”

Million Dollar Listing star Ryan Serhant shared the news on his social media accounts after the event happened.

“Yesterday morning I shut down Times Square and a little boy from Texas (me) proposed to a little girl from Greece (Emilia) in this crazy city called New York. I need to say thank you to the help of 50 NYPD officers, the Mayor’s office, and the Times Square Alliance. We had the heart of this city completely to ourselves. Like I’ve always said… GO BIG OR GO HOME,” Ryan Serhant wrote on Instagram, sharing a picture of the two of them together alone in Times Square.

Perhaps, Ryan Serhant is changing. According to the Inquisitr, he has been hanging out with Fredrik Eklund while filming the newest season of Million Dollar Listing. These two used to feud quite a bit, but maybe the sweet Emilia has softened those tough edges that have defined Serhant over the years.
