Kaley Cuoco Will Have Short Hair As Penny On ‘The Big Bang Theory’

Kaley Cuoco will not be wearing a wig or extensions on the new season of The Big Bang Theory. The actress chopped off her long blonde locks after she finished filming the last season, and many fans were left wondering if Kaley’s character Penny would also have a pixie cut on the show. It’s unknown if there will be an actual episode where Penny gets a hair cut or if the show will just ignore Penny’s new look, but based on some photos that Kaley posted on Instagram, Penny’s long blonde hair is long gone.

Naturally this doesn’t sit right with a lot of fans because Penny doesn’t seem like a pixie cut kind of gal. While the hairstyle looks great on Cuoco, it’s definitely going to be a little weird to see Penny rocking it.

Kaley Cuoco recently got a huge pay raise and will rake in $1 million per episode this season and beyond. She really does seem to love her role on The Big Bang Theory, and fans are thrilled that she will be back for another season. Of course, this season should revolve heavily around her character since Penny and Leonard got engaged at the end of the last season.

Aside from the show, Kaley has had a pretty busy summer. Not only did she film a movie (Burning Bodhi), but she also did a lot of horseback riding. She and her husband Ryan Sweeting spent a lot of time together also, which was great. Of course, everything wasn’t all rainbows and butterflies. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Kaley was part of the huge celebrity nude photo leak. While it was definitely embarrassing, Kaley had a great attitude about the whole thing. She posted her own blurred out photos, poking fun at the situation.

Kaley Cuoco has also been staying fit this summer by taking yoga classes in Los Angeles. On Monday afternoon, Mail Online caught the actress at a yoga studio. She was spotted in a pink maxi dress, carrying her yoga mat and a bottle of water, to her car (a $250K Mercedes Benz). Her super short hair was wet — either from sweat or a post-workout shower — but this was just another sign that Kaley doesn’t have extensions and will be rocking her short hair all season long.
