Kate Middleton’s Morning Sickness Was So Bad Prince Harry’s 30th Birthday Bash Got Cancelled

Kate Middleton has been in the news a lot lately regarding the acute morning sickness she has been suffering from due to the early stages of her new pregnancy.

Unfortunately, that morning sickness has affected most of the Duchess’ public engagements, and she has been forced to cancel appointments so she can remain at the palace under the watchful eye of the Royal doctors.

Now Kate Middleton’s morning sickness is affecting more people than just William and George, as Prince Harry was forced to cancel his upcoming 30th birthday party at Kensington Palace due to his sister-in-law’s condition.

Vanity Fair reported that poor Prince Harry ended up home alone, probably with at least a nightcap or two knowing him, on his 30th birthday as his party was cancelled, most likely to his great dismay.

The birthday bash, which was planned meticulously by Kate, her sister Pippa, and Harry’s close friend Guy Pelly, was set to be a great one with no expense spared. Sadly for Harry, it just didn’t happen.

As well as Prince Harry being disappointed that he missed out on a great party, the other 30 guests who were invited to the bash all had to be contacted individually to be told the party was cancelled.

Vanity Fair reported an inside source as saying that there were a few famous people due to attend the party, among them singer Ellie Goulding.

“She said she was due to go, but it was all up in the air because of Kate being unwell,” said the source.

It’s a shame for Prince Harry, who was so looking forward to his birthday party even though he told reporters that he feels “old” at the prospect of hitting his 30s, “On the birthday side of things, I’ll be chuffed to bits when I’m having a beer with Dave Henson, captain of the GB team — we turn 30 at exactly the same time, on Sunday night,” he said.
