Sarah Herron Talks Robert Graham Split: Did The ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Couple Rekindle Their Romance?

Fans watched Sarah Herron, and Robert Graham split up in the Bachelor in Paradise finale and it seems she took a lot of flack for it via social media as it played out on ABC. Now Sarah is blogging about just what went down, and she’s writing about what happened after filming. Should she have been more willing to give their romance a shot once they got home? As it happens, Robert and Sarah did reconnect once they were back home to give things a shot, and she shares the details in her latest blog.

Herron writes in Parade that the day she and Robert had to decide the fate of their relationship; she was going a bit stir-crazy watching other couples leave. She eventually went to find Robert and told him that she wasn’t packing her bags. Rather, she said she was staying for him and she hoped that he was staying too. Sarah admits that while she was very attracted to Robert, she found him tough to read. She even adds that he’s “next level” mysterious, and he definitely had a wall up with her.

As Bachelor in Paradise viewers saw, Sarah and Robert did spend the night together but they definitely weren’t on the same page the next day. After seeing how giddy Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul were, as were Michelle Money and Cody Sattler, Sarah broke things off with Robert. Herron says that even just a few words into it, she wondered if she might be making a big mistake.

What Bachelor in Paradise fans didn’t know until now, though, is that Sarah did try to work things out. She shares that she cried for several days after the split and she went to see him at the hotel after they left filming. Herron writes that she apologized and admitted that she’d put too much pressure on their relationship after seeing the other two couples.

It seems Robert said that they would figure things out when they got home, as they both live in Los Angeles. Sarah and Robert met up for dinner in Santa Monica shortly after filming. However, it seemingly was clear that there just wasn’t a romantic connection there. Herron admits she is still unsure about some of what went down, but she ultimately believes that he just wasn’t that interested in her.

What does Robert Graham have to say about all of it? Not that much. As the show aired he tweeted that the part about his sleeping in jeans in the fantasy suite didn’t happen, but Sarah hasn’t backed down from that one. On Twitter, he has interacted with Sarah with a few of her tweets about the show and the posts do seem sweet. When she tweeted that she wondered if he’d unfriended her on Facebook yet Robert replied that he never would. He also encouraged her not to let the haters bother her.

Despite the fact that fans would have liked to see Sarah and Robert make a real go of a romance, it seems it simply wasn’t meant to be. That said, Bachelor in Paradise has been renewed for season 2 and fans are already talking about wanting to see some of these original participants back. Would you go for seeing either Robert Graham or Sarah Herron back for another round next summer?
