Charlie Sheen Offers $1,000 To PYT Waiter Stiffed By LeSean McCoy

Charlie Sheen is stepping up to correct LeSean McCoy’s mistake, offering $1,000 to the waiter reportedly stiffed by the Philadelphia Eagles star.

This week, Philadelphia burger joint PTY posted to its Facebook page a receipt from the football player and a group of friends. In the tip line for the $61.56 bill, McCoy had put only 20 cents.

“That is a.03% tip. New record!” the restaurant noted.

This week, PYT owner Tommy Up defended his decision to post the receipt on Facebook, saying that McCoy and his group were rude to the staff.

Up wrote:

He and his group, from the moment they sat down, were verbally abusive to our staff in the most insulting ways. The derogatory statements about women and their sheer contempt for the staff serving them wasn’t the end, however. After Mr McCoy and his group left I looked over and saw their server, my friend, with his head bowed down and with a very confused look on his face. I took the receipt out of his hand and I couldn’t believe that anyone could be so callous. Mr McCoy had left a.03% tip for our staff. Our staff that was beyond excited to see him walk into our burger joint and was excited to serve him. That’s twenty cents on a tab of over $60. Twenty cents that our server has to split with the food runner and the bartender. Two dimes from an insulting multimillionaire.

The incident caught the attention of actor Charlie Sheen, who on Wednesday tweeted a message pledging $1,000 for the waiter stiffed by LeSean McCoy.

LeSean McCoy has been silent on the incident, but with Charlie Sheen around, apparently it pays to get stiffed by an NFL star.
