Hilary Duff Talks Relationships Past And Present
Hilary Duff has opened up about relationships both present and past during two interviews today, and while many were saddened by her split from husband Mike Comrie, she says there may still be hope for the two.
While talking on The Kyle & Jackie O’s KIIS 106.5 show, Hilary Duff stated that she still cares deeply for her somewhat estranged husband, and the feelings seem to be mutual according to E! News. While the “Chasing the Sun” singer admits that she and Comrie have “uncoupled,” it’s only temporary at the moment.
“I mean, if there wasn’t a chance for getting back [together], I think we would’ve filed for divorce,” said the former Disney Channel star. “We’re not putting any—I talk about this so much, I really don’t want to talk about it anymore—but we are like—I just talked to him this morning! We really care a lot about each other. We’re just really laid-back, and we’re like well whatever happens, happens,” Duff continued. “Once we’re tired of doing this, we’ll either make this choice or make this choice.”
After announcing her split from Comrie this past January, fans began noticing that one of her exes started claiming that he still has some serious feelings for Hilary. According to a previous report by The Inquisitr, Aaron Carter declared that he still has feelings for Hilary through a series of posts on Twitter, and while Carter seemed sincere, Hilary doesn’t seem interested.

During an interview with BuzzFeed, Hilary Duff acknowledged Arron Carter‘s feelings for her, but she still doesn’t seem to be interested in rekindling their relationship. When asked about the tweets, Hilary reportedly responded with a laugh, keeping the subject light.
“He does, I keep seeing that, that he keeps doing that. I don’t know how I feel. I mean, that was so long ago, and obviously I’m still married, and I have a baby and we kind of just… don’t know each other. So, yeah…”
For now, it seems as if Hilary Duff is just looking to enjoy life, and while she may be separated from husband Mike Comrie, that doesn’t mean that they haven’t be spotted out and about with each other, and of course, with their 2-year-old son, Luca. According to US Weekly, back in May Hilary admitted that neither of them is in a rush to make any decisions at this point in their relationship.
“We’re not in a rush for anything,” Duff explained to the magazine.. “So we’re just trying to enjoy our lives and figure out what makes us happy and it’s working for us.”
