Jessa Duggar Wedding Registry Includes Gift Cards, A Cool Iron And Wild Boar Rug

With Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald’s wedding date set, the 19 Kids and Counting star and her husband-to-be released their wedding registry. And unlike her sister’s, the choices are a bit more subtle (now, where’s that pump shotgun?).

The 21-year-old and her 19-year-old fiance have only been engaged for a few weeks, and are now ready to walk down the aisles of holy matrimony. And it seems the third daughter to Michelle Duggar, 47, and Jim Bob Duggar, 49, is following in the footsteps of her oldest sister, Jill Duggar, 23, who recently wed Derick Dillard, 25, by finalizing her wedding gift registry.

Jessa and Ben enlisted the services of The Knot, an online service portal that assists in all phases of wedding planning. And with a family — with lots of friends and relatives — as big as the Duggar household, they need all the help they can get.

One thing that stands out about Jessa Duggar’s wedding registry is that it’s a lot more sensible and narrowly-focused than her sister’s, citing an ABC News report. Jill’s gift wishlist included a wide-range of things — like really wide.

Of course there were practical household items on her list, but cereal, neon duct tape (honestly), shotguns, ammo and a military assault-style air rifle rounded out the list. In short, Jill and Derick’s list had “everything but the kitchen sink.”

Jessa’s bridal registry list is more practical — odd, but practical. And it’s obvious Ben and Jessa have a penchant for chain restaurants, as evidenced by their abundant choices in gift cards. Additionally, there’s a futuristic chrome iron that looks more like a tricked-out Bugatti racecar. And if they wanted to hide their owl fetish, it’s not working.

Other than that, some other interesting items appear on Jessa Duggar’s registry.

  • Weight Watchers Glass Body Analysis Scale, Cost: $29.99
  • Bride & Groom 2-Piece Bag Tag Gift Set, Cost: $11.99′
  • SmartTouch Razor Replacement Heads, Cost: $39.99
  • Life’s a Hoot Pot Holder and Oven Mitt, Cost: $5.99 and $6.99, respectively
  • 36-Count Rubber-Tipped Wood Clothes Pins, Cost: $3.99
  • Home Collection 5-Level Shelf, Cost: $660.99
  • Hair Straightener, Cost: $139.99
  • Contemporary Stainless Steel 13-Piece Cookware Set, Cost: $499.99
  • Arkansas State Shaped Cutting Board, Cost: $19.99
  • Hydro-Therapy Foot Massager, Cost: $37.49

Jessa spends time at night planning for her nuptials, while her live-in fiance works on online college courses. Ben chimed in on his experience, thus far, in helping his bride-to-be prepare for her special day.

“We have most of our planning done. When you’re planning a wedding, you can make it complicated or make it simple, and we are trying to make ours simple. There are some things that have to be done right before the wedding, but for the most part, we’re ready.”

Luckily, Jessa Duggar didn’t stress too long on what she’d wear down the aisle. And by all accounts, she’s over the moon on the choice of her bridal gown.

“I picked out my wedding dress a couple of days ago. I went with the second dress I tried on—I love it.”

Ben proposed to Jessa just last month, and as part of their Christian beliefs, they deferred the hand-holding until they were engaged to be married. Moreover, the younger Duggar is following in the footsteps of her sister Jill by waiting to lock lips with the man of her dreams on her wedding day.

With the engagement ring out the way, the big date and location set (November 1 in Springdale, Arkansas) and the wedding registry announced, Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald just have to sit back, keep smiling and taking cool pictures on Instagram.
