Lea Michele Radiates At ‘Sons Of Anarchy’ Premiere
Despite coming “dangerously close to a nip slip,” in the words of Us Magazine, Lea Michele was a stunner in white at the Sons of Anarchy premiere on Saturday in Los Angeles. The hip-hugging dress featured an unusual cut that formed a flattering square of cleavage below her neck. Us said the dress was a piece by Cushnie Et Ochs. Lea topped off the outfit with gold heels and a white pedicure, as shown in photos by the Daily Mail.
Michele was attending the premiere as one of the show’s many notable guest stars due to appear this year. Making what was perhaps a sideways reference to the eclectic mix of actors, Michele tweeted a photo with Sons Of Anarchy executive producer Paris Barclay, Marilyn Manson, and Courtney Love.

Strikingly, Love and Anarchy cast-member Drea de Matteo wore all-black leather dresses while Annabeth Gish joined Michele in opting for angelic all-white. In Gish’s case, the outfit was a silk jumpsuit with a plunging neckline. Detailed snaps were provided in the Daily Mail’s slideshow of the event.
Michele’s role on Anarchy will be as Gertie, a single mother and waitress who connects with Gemma. Michele’s guest spot is one of several unique projects for the actress, who released a book earlier this year. Her Twitter profile defines her as “actor, singer, NY Times best selling author.”
CarterMatt took some time this weekend to speculate on the upcoming final season of Glee and Michele’s place in it. As the blogger notes, it’s a bit unclear how characters played by Lea, co-stars Jane Lynch, and Chris Colfer will evolve. Even though they remain on the books as series regulars, the blogger said it is unlikely every episode will feature all of them. CarterMatt used Michele’s tweeted photo of the actor on-set as confirmation that they will all be in the premiere.
Entertainment Weekly reported late last month that Michele’s Rachel Berry character will return to her old digs after failing to make it as a television actress. She’ll eventually revive the glee club after finding out the state of the arts at her old stomping grounds. The new season of Glee will only be 13 episodes long, in theory long enough to give closure to Glee fans on their favorite characters. The show will premiere mid-season on Fox.
The new season of Sons of Anarchy will debut on Tuesday, September 9 on FX.
