Tina Fey’s Helpful Hint For Keeping Nude Photos A Secret [Video]
Tina Fey knows that if her nude photos leaked online, her book sales would soar. Unfortunately, there’s a good reason the former SNL star’s nude pic have not been revealed.
Ms. Fey was on David Letterman to promote her autobiography, Bossypants, and upcoming movie This is Where I Leave You. The conversation quickly took to the recent hacking scandal where nude photos of A-list celebrities were released onto the internet, also known as the Fappening. Fey then revealed the secret to her anonymity saying,
“All my nudes are very, very extreme close-ups of my butt, so you’d never know it’s me. Like a microscope close-up. Thousands of them.”
David Letterman responded by saying he’ll be on the lookout for those.
After the revelations that the nude photos were leaked, a number of people started criticizing the celebrities themselves for taking the photos to begin with. Comedian Ricky Gervais tweeted about the Fappening.
“Celebrities, make it harder for hackers to get nude pics of you by not putting nude pics of yourself on your computer.”
The tweet was condemned before ultimately being taken down. But Tina Fey knew who to blame.
“You have to always remember it is the fault of the creeps who steal. Creeps who take them are the bad people.”
Tina Fey is joined by many celebrities who have come out to condemn the hacking. Seth Rogen recently took his case to Twitter.
Posting pics hacked from someone’s cell phone is really no different than selling stolen merchandise.

Emma Watson also joined in saying,

Tina Fey also took the opportunity to be nostalgic after acknowledging that nude pics had become the norm.
“I feel like the girls I remember when I was in high school; it wouldn’t have been worth it. None of us really looked that great to take a picture in our bathroom like that.”
It’s still not clear how the scandal will turn out. The FBI is investigating and Apple’s iCloud, which was the service that was hacked in the first place, has come under intense criticism.
Tina Fey’s movie, This is Where I Leave You, will come out September 19.
