Is Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor Really Bald In ‘Batman V Superman’?

There is little doubt that practically ever piece of information that has been released/leaked regarding the upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice has brought more questions than answers. One of the biggest questions since Jesse Eisenberg’s being cast as Superman’s arch nemesis Lex Luthor–and perhaps the most petty–has been whether or not this interpretation would be bald. Recently, we gave a soft confirmation that Luthor would, in fact, be bald, but it appears those claims may have been a bit premature–though when it comes to leaked information, it’s always safe to take it all with a huge grain of salt.

Another twist in the “Is Lex Luthor Bald?” tale is a recent picture a fan took with Jesse Eisenberg a couple days back (via Joblo).

The claims around the internet are conflicting, some saying this is on the set of Batman V Superman, while others say it is Eisenberg on the set of another film. What is evident, however, is that Eisenberg is wearing a wig. It would be a bit strange if this were, in fact on the set of Batman V Superman, as in the past they’ve been careful to cover Jesse Eisenberg’s head–though in those photos it looked as though he had hair peeking out from under the towel (see below).

However, if that photo is, in fact, from the set of Batman V Superman, there is a possibility that there will be a portion of the film that will have Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor have hair, and will lose it at some point (via Screen Rant). It wouldn’t be the first time, as Gene Hackman’s Lex Luthor had went bald at the end of the original Superman film.

The fact that the production is going to such great lengths to either confuse or cover up Eisenberg’s head seems to be proof of such a possibility, as they may be attempting to cover up potential spoilers regarding the plot. Snyder is a very savvy filmmaker, and it can all be in good fun to confuse the media and incite conversation about the movie. Surprisingly, there has been no speculation that Eisenberg is running around with various wigs on set in between takes just to keep the secret, but it’s only a matter of time…
