Ellen DeGeneres Saves Her Marriage, Portia Comes First
Ellen DeGeneres is saving her marriage. For those that are still keeping up with the Ellen and Portia divorce rumors, with the start of DeGeneres’ new season of her talk show marks the turning of a new leaf for the couple. If you ask us, they never needed to turn over a leaf, but according to Radar Online the couple made an effort to patch things up recently.
The Inquisitr has been steadily reporting both sides of this pesky rumor that has plagued the couple all summer long. A wave of reports don’t point to DeGeneres’ alleged “controlling ways” or de Rossi’s “image issues” as the main problem between the married couple.
It’s said that Portia was jealous of Ellen’s friendship with Sofia Vergara, and allegedly taped arguments that she had with DeGeneres. Sources spoke to OK Magazine specifically about this issue.
“They have amazing chemistry on TV, [But] Portia has always thought Ellen was a little too touchy-feely with Sofía, they’ve fought about it before, but Ellen convinced Portia she was blowing the situation out of proportion and that the women were just good friends.”
According to sources that spoke with Radar Online the two are overcoming several speed bumps.
“Towards the end of last season [of ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’] everything was really taking a toll on her. While Portia was in treatment and everyone was predicting that they were getting a divorce, it was really hard. But thankfully, all of that has passed.”
“Ellen says that she will be with Portia forever and that she puts her wife before anything, even her career.”
Despite the rumors which Ellen went on record denying, the two seem perfectly fine. Although some speculated that this was all for show, it’s pretty hard to fake something like Portia’s anniversary gift for Ellen.

The “six” marks the six years the couple has been married for.
Of her relationship with de Rossi the daytime talk host said, “The truth is, and this is corny, I fall more in love with Portia all the time. I really do. She surprises me all the time. It’s what anyone experiences when you find that person that gets you, wants to take care of you, wants the best for you. We’re really lucky because we know how rare it is.”
