‘Batman V Superman’ TV Spot Created By Fan Is Pretty Cool [Video]

Since we really don’t have any footage to share from Batman v Superman, a fan decided he might as well create his own TV spot and it’s pretty cool. The scenario presented in this clip titled “I Saved Your Planet” is very plausible in the grand scheme of things.

We have to remember that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is the sequel to Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel, in which he plays Superman. Returning to reprise his role in Zack Snyder’s sequel, he will reportedly “pay for his actions” in that last destructive scene of the original.

Snyder was heavily criticized, by fans and critics alike, for the violence he depicted in the epic fight between Superman and his vicious enemy, General Zod (Michael Shannon). Metropolis is utterly flattened and workers at the Daily Planet, including the skeptical Perry White (Laurence Fishburne), barely walk away with their lives.

Fast forward to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, where we see the beginning of the clip shows a very upset Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) watching the news about the situation in Metropolis. The footage is unimaginable, as the news reports that millions are dead following the battle.

The Batman v Superman TV spot includes images of Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), as he expectedly comes to confront Superman, while the military is seen rushing somewhere. Would they feel betrayed, after the Man of Steel told them he was on their side? How can they reconcile that statement with the destruction leveled at one of the country’s largest cities?

A first encounter between Batman and Superman is also featured in the cool clip, as we see a distraught red caped superhero. The video seems to suggest that people have turned against Superman for his actions. Batman surfaces to confront him as well, which has been hinted as the potential story line.

But Superman defends himself and his actions crying, “You are alive because of what I did to save you!”

The premise we see in this Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice so-called TV Spot is in line with a previous report by The Inquisitr. According to Batman News, the scenes filmed with Washington, D.C. as the backdrop are directly related to Superman killing Zod.

“A major action scene was shot in July in one of the big studios in Detroit. Without giving too much away…it involves Superman and the United States Capitol building in Washington D.C. Superman will have to answer for what happened at the end of Man of Steel. Half the public blames him for all the death and destruction. If it wasn’t for Superman being there, General Zod would have never come to Earth.”
