Kandi Burruss Pregnant? Kandi And Todd Tucker Are Ready To Have A Baby

Kandi Burruss is planning on getting pregnant this year. The Real Housewives Of Atlanta star and her new husband, Todd Tucker, are ready to have a baby together, and they hope to have some exciting pregnancy news by year’s end. According to Fashion & Style, Kandi and Todd want to take on the challenge, and Kandi is hoping to welcome another child before the reality star turns 40.

“I want to get pregnant this year! Knock it out by 39!” Kandi recently said. While her biological clock might be ticking, Kandi seems to really be looking forward to becoming a mom again. “We’re really looking forward to having kids together. I can’t wait to [have] one big family!”

Kandi Burruss could be pregnant before the holidays, which is definitely what she wants. She has found happiness with Todd, and the two would really like to have a new beginning with a new life. While at first the couple was just taking things slow, Kandi recently revealed that she and Todd are trying more diligently to conceive.

“I just don’t want to keep waiting. At first, we thought it would just happen, but it hasn’t yet. So now we’re clocking days and making an effort. We really want to start a family together.”

Kandi Burruss was pregnant once before — her daughter, Riley, is 11-years-old. Todd Tucker also has a daughter from a previous relationship. Kaela is 17-years-old. According to MStars, Kandi said that she is hoping to have a baby boy.

“I always wanted to have a son,” she revealed. Of course the couple will be happy just to have a healthy baby, regardless if it’s a boy or a girl, but it would be nice for them to welcome a boy… since they both already have daughters.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Burruss set quite a few goals for herself this year. She really wanted to lose weight, and was planning some crazy diet and exercise routine that would help her kick 20 pounds in a very short amount of time. While this might not make sense to some people (why would you want to lose weight if you’re going to gain weight when you get pregnant?), Kandi might want to do it just for health reasons. Being overweight, pregnant, and 39 might not be the best combination for Kandi. Perhaps she wants to make sure she’s in better shape to help her have a healthy pregnancy. That? Totally makes sense.
