Run Walter, Run! Epic GoPro Video Showing Dog Racing Towards Water Is A Massive Hit!

There are some videos on YouTube that you have no idea as to why they become so popular. While this one is not a bad video per se, how it has managed to inch to almost 1 million views in just two days is perplexing. Maybe dog lovers out there can relate to this?

The video in question is titled “Run Walter, Run!” and it was uploaded to YouTube by Simone Sciumbata, who goes by the nickname Sciu89 on YouTube, reports ABC News. Simone owns a Labrador retriever by the name of Walter. On the eve of his birthday, Simone was gifted a GoPro camera. The smart guy that he is, Simone let his dog use the camera first. He tied the camera to the back of Walter to see what the dog sees when Walter goes for his daily swim on the beach, close to the home of Simone’s girlfriend.

The camera was attached to Walter’s collar – and what happened can be seen in the embedded video clip above. If you are expecting something exceptional to happen at the end of the video, sorry to be the party pooper – but no, nothing happens.

The video is only 30 seconds long and for the most part, it shows Walter running towards the water before jumping into it. In the last few seconds, you would also see a few people standing by the beach – none of them surprised at the sight of the fast approaching dog. Perhaps they are all used to seeing Walter do this on a daily basis.

Anyway, this would make a great video for those of you who have always wondered what the world looks like from a dog’s perspective – although I am told that dogs only have limited color vision.

What do you think about this newest viral video featuring Walter?
