Don’t Blame Scientology For Jett Travolta says Lisa Marie Presley

Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis and Scientologist has entered the discussion around death of Jett Travolta, saying that her religion isn’t to blame, despite its kooky beliefs
Now Is Not The Time.
I wished I could be writing you under happier circumstances but I cannot because Two of my very good friends, (John and Kelly Travolta ) the sweetest people in the world have just encountered the worst possible tragedy a parent could be forced to endure, the death of their son Jett.
My heart is crying and bleeding for them.
I personally would not have it in me to bury my own child.
I am writing this because I have noticed that for the most part, people and the media have been very sympathetic and respectful, but there are those certain ones that want to use this horrible tragedy as an opportunity to once again, blame and or attack Scientology?
Folks, as popular as it has been to discriminate and ridicule Scientology and Scientologist’s in the recent past , Now is NOT the time.
I realize that there is a lot of mis information out there about the subject which has caused a lot of stone throwing but we are not still in the dark ages and it is still an Unconstitutional Injustice to partake in and encourage such condemnation.
Among most of the crazy made up garbage that goes around about it , It is not true that Scientologist’s “Don’t believe in ” medical care , medicine or medical Doctors and that may have something to do with this terrible tragedy.
Just like anyone else, If one is sick , they go to the doctor, If a medication will make it better then they take it.
If they don’t then they are an idiot and you can’t blame their religion.
Whatever medical and or physical condition Jett had , I can tell you first hand that his parents were on a tireless, never ending quest to get and provide him with the absolute best care anyone could ever ask for and need, Medically, physically, emotionally, medicinally and spiritually.
I am not writing this to preach my beliefs, I am here to protect my friends.
To the few of you out there that this may apply to,
Let’s not use the tragic death of a child to facilitate your insatiable need to attack and destroy Scientology shall we?
John and Kelly have done nothing but spend their lives and their time helping others, making people happy and making peoples lives better.
Please let this family grieve in peace.
No, they just don’t believe in medical care for mental illness, but that mustn’t count I guess. Her full blog post here.

n January of 1975 I was working on my first film in Durango, Mexico. There I met an actress who gave me the book Dianetics. During the five weeks we were filming she gave me some auditing sessions and applied some basic principles. That was when I became involved in Dianetics – because it worked.
When I returned to the United States I began Scientology training and auditing. My career immediately took off and I landed a leading role on the TV show “Welcome Back Kotter” and had a string of successful films. I have been a successful actor for more than twenty years and Scientology has played a major role in that success.
I have a wonderful child and a great marriage because I apply L. Ron Hubbard’s technology to this area of my life.
As a Scientologist, I have the technology to handle life’s problems and I have used this to help others in life as well.
I would say that Scientology put me into the big time.

Wonder if the Travolta's feel the same today????

Kudos to Lisa Marie! Finally someone said this. Leave the Travoltas alone and kick the a**es of those who try to exploit a dead boy for their sordid PR spin!

Lisa, we are ridiculing Scientology because it is not and never has been a RELIGION!! It is a stupid cult and we can see what effects it has on its followers each time (TOM CRUISE AND HIS ROBOTIC WIFE KATIE) also, if Scientology's belief is that autism and other such illnesses do not exist and those that are born with them are considered sub human then what do you expect us to say!!!??? No TRUE RELIGION excludes those born with such illnesses like Jett had. I am so deeply sad for the Travolta's on the loss of their son and can see how close and loving a family they are. However, if they were hiding his autism and pretending it was something else to appease the nuts at Scientology Central, then this happened for a reason. God is telling them to do the right thing by their son's death and speak out. They are celebrities who can make a difference and help those who suffer from the same thing their beautiful son did. Their son was a gift from God not the moon and the stars.

Does he not attribute his talent to making it in Hollywood? is it that most of the studios in Hollywood are run by Scientologists as I am puzzled why he feels he made it big time because of them. Is there some creepy secret here we all need to be aware of ? Tom Cruise, Will Smith, John Travolta, just some of the big name Scientologists who keep on getting good movie roles. There must be some kind of connection (or gratitude by these 'stars' for their careers.

Scientology may have an influence on certain people who open their minds to it but it cant keep people alive from natural medical issues. It also cant help people overcome genetic abnormalities or medical problems. If there is a genetic abnormality as in the case for Jett No cult will help overcome it.
