Here’s an interesting rumour that has started floating around the political scene. Apparently Dr. Sanjay Gupta of CNN fame has been offered the job of Surgeon General in the new Obama administration. while he has decline to comment when contacted about the rumour John King and Wolf Blitzer talked about it today and apparently sources close to John King say that the good doctor is inclined to accept the position.

John King also read a statement on the air from CNN

“Since first learning that Dr. Gupta was under consideration for the Surgeon General position, CNN made sure his on air reporting has been on health and wellness matters, not on healthcare policy or any matters concerning the new administration.”
