Britney Spears Secretly Texts Ex-Boyfriend Adnan Ghalib After Split With David Lucado
It’s rebound time for Britney Spears, with Radar Online reporting that the pop music star has been texting her former boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib. After finding out that her boyfriend, David Lucado, cheated on her, she reportedly started messaging the 42-year-old photographer “on the sly.”
Spears dated Ghalib back in 2008 shortly before her father, Jamie, placed her under his conservatorship. Britney’s dad is so protective of his daughter that he had a judge put a restraining order on Ghalib back in 2009, ordering him not to have any contact with the singer for a period of three years.
Although the restraining order has since expired, Radar’s sources state that Britney’s dad would not approve of his daughter texting her former boyfriend and keeps tabs on her cell phone conversations.

It’s possible that Spears, 32, has a mobile phone that her father is not aware of, and this isn’t the first time she’s reached out to her ex. The source continued on to say that she “never really stopped talking” to Ghalib, even while dating David Lucado.
News that Spears relationship with Lucado was over made headlines last week after Radar revealed that Britney dumped him after learning about a video that showed her now-ex boyfriend blatantly cheating on her. In the video, David was seen partying with a woman inside a West Hollywood nightclub, just two weeks after he was spotted “dancing all night” with a blonde woman at Micky’s in West Hollywood.
“David and this cute blonde were dancing all night. They seemed really into each other.”
Just Jared reports that Spears was made aware of the video on August 27 and was “truly surprised” and “devastated by the betrayal.” Lucado’s rep told Radar Online, “David is very, very in love with Britney. This is unfortunate and he hopes that it all works out,” but it seems that Britney has already moved on.
Spears wasted no time letting her fans know the relationship was over, and that she was once again single. Two days after she broke up with David Lucado, she sent out a telling message out to her 38.7 million fans on Twitter, tweeting, “Ahhhh the single life!”
