Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts Awake But Doctors Have Bad News For WWE Legend

Jake “the Snake” Roberts is now awake and talking to friends and family but unfortunately some reports say the doctors have some bad news for the WWE legend about his medical prognosis.

In a related report by The Inquisitr, last night we reported on the health status of Jake the Snake and at first things seemed to have taken a grim turn.

“Roberts was on a flight from Atlanta to Las Vegas and was admitted to a hospital immediately upon landing. He is currently in and out of consciousness…. Legendary wrestler Jake “The Snake” Roberts is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a Las Vegas Hospital after collapsing during a cross country flight. Roberts had been battling the flu for the last two weeks and ignored doctors warnings to rest. That bout of flu has now turned into double pneumonia and Roberts is fighting for his very life.”

Roberts was in a coma for about 24 hours and Sinn Bodhi, who has been with Jake the Snake in Las Vegas, reported that doctors told the WWE legend that he needed to rest after contracting the flu. Although Roberts was in pain, he ignored the bed rest recommendation because he felt like it was not that big a deal. Doctors are currently running more tests but they want to prevent him from slithering away from the ICU for the foreseeable future.

While the good news is that Jake the Snake is awake, the bad news is that doctors are saying his lungs are filled with fluid due to the double pneumonia and they have also detected a mass on his brain, which they are currently trying to diagnose. Although doctors have not confirmed this mass might be cancer, this second report is most worrisome considering how Roberts suffered from a cancerous tumor behind his knee and had emergency surgery to remove the cancer in February. But back in July doctors believed Jake was cancer free.

Assuming a worst case scenario, we’re just hoping Jake the Snake will have the same attitude now that he did back in February.

“If the devil can’t defeat me, cancer doesn’t stand a chance in hell!” he said. “Pray for sick children who face this horrible disease ’cause The Snake will be just fine.”

The family and friends of Jake “the Snake” Roberts has continued to ask everyone to pray for the health of the WWE Hall of Fame wrestler as he fights the biggest match of his life.
