Reese Witherspoon Sends ‘Legally Blonde’ Inspired Get Well Video For Child Battling Cancer [Video]
Say what you want about Reese Witherspoon, but today the actress earns a round of applause. Witherspoon, who is known for many 90s and early millennium roles, dressed up as Elle Woods from the Legally Blonde films. No, she isn’t announcing a third film, but instead Reese decided to send a special message to the unlikeliest of fans.
Reese posed in an all-pink dressed with pearls and even held up a sign that said “Get Better Soon” with a hashtag #TeamWill. Will is a 4-year-old who is battling cancer. Will also happens to be a big fan of Legally Blonde, specifically “the pink lady” as Witherspoon refers to herself in the video.
The actress made sure to show off her Legally Blonde look on Instagram to lift four-year-old Will’s spirits up. Posing for a photo she captioned it with:
“‘This is for one of the strongest little 4-year-olds I can imagine. Will — I hear that you’re fighting so hard and strong against cancer and that in the hospital you’ve been watching a lot of Legally Blonde and loving it. I hope it makes you laugh!’ Witherspoon also imparted a ‘big big hug and my hope and prayers. Just know – I’m a really big fan of YOURS!'”

Additionally Witherspoon put up a video to get a viral message going out for Will. This is just one effort to raise social awareness that Reese has recently made. Last week, Witherspoon participated in the ALS ice bucket challenge and decided to dedicate it in honor of her friend Nancy who had been diagnosed that week. In September, she will also participate in the Stand Up To Cancer telecast, which will air on September 5. As for Reese’s fan Will it looks like her wish is happening and people are spreading the world about #TeamWill.
